This Privacy Policy was last updated on April 14th, 2026.
At Inokufu (“Inokufu”, “we”), we respect your privacy, and it is important to us that you understand how we collect, use, and share data about you. This Privacy Policy covers our data collection practices and describes your rights to access, correct, or limit our use of your personal data. It applies when you visit or use Inokufu’s websites (www.inokufu.com, www.inokufu-analytics.com, www.becomino.com), its applications, browser extensions, APIs, or associated services (the “Services”).
Legal basis: Art. 6.1.b GDPR (performance of contract) for data necessary for the Services; Art. 6.1.a (consent) for optional data.
When you create an account and use the Services, we collect data you provide to us directly, including:
Account data: email address, password (encrypted), year of birth, unique identifier, questionnaire responses.
Profile data: photo, title, website link, profiles on various social networks (optional).
Shared content: reviews, questions, answers, messages, photos or other content posted on the platform (may be visible to all).
Feedback data: content ratings and learning preferences.
Communications and support: contact details, messages and data exchanged during support requests.
Account data is permanently deleted within one month after account closure or following a right to erasure request.
Legal basis: Art. 6.1.f GDPR (Inokufu’s legitimate interest in improving and securing its Services).
When you access the Services, certain data is collected automatically:
System data: IP address, operating system type and version, unique identifiers, browser, language, domain.
Usage data: pages visited, time spent, features used, searches performed, date and time of access.
Approximate geographic data: country, city, calculated from the IP address.
Inokufu uses server log files and automated data collection tools (cookies, web beacons, scripts). These tools automatically collect certain System Data and Usage Data described in section 1.
Inokufu uses the following types of cookies:
Preference cookies: to remember your settings (language, country).
Security cookies: to allow you to log in and protect your account.
Functional cookies: to remember your functional settings.
Session state cookies: to track your interactions and improve your experience.
Analytics cookies: to measure the audience of our Services via self-hosted Matomo (see section 2.2).
You can configure your browser to restrict or refuse cookies. Disabling certain cookies may limit access to features of the Services.
Legal basis: Art. 6.1.f GDPR (legitimate interest). No data transfer to a third party.
Inokufu uses Matomo, a self-hosted web analytics solution on its own servers located in France. Unlike third-party analytics solutions, no data is transmitted to an external provider. Matomo allows us to analyse the use of the Services (consultation frequency, traffic source, performance) in order to improve them.
You can disable Matomo tracking at any time via the opt-out module available on our sites.
Legal basis: Art. 6.1.a GDPR (consent). Transfer outside the EU governed by the 2021 SCCs and the Data Privacy Framework.
We use HubSpot, a customer relationship management (CRM) and marketing tool, to manage our B2B commercial contacts and send communications. HubSpot is a US-based provider. This transfer is governed by the Standard Contractual Clauses (SCCs 2021) and HubSpot’s certification under the EU-US Data Privacy Framework (see section 7).

This section concerns data processed by Inokufu on behalf of its professional clients (organisations, educational institutions, companies).
As part of its B2B service offerings, Inokufu also acts as a data processor within the meaning of Article 28 of the GDPR when it operates digital infrastructures on behalf of its clients:
LMS (Learning Management System): learning management platform hosted on behalf of the client.
LRS (Learning Record Store / xAPI): recording and retrieval of learning traces on behalf of the client.
Matomo web analytics: self-hosted Matomo instance operated on behalf of the client.
Keycloak (IAM/SSO): identity and access management (single sign-on) on behalf of the client.
In these situations, the client is the data controller and Inokufu acts solely on their documented instructions. The data processed includes learner identities, learning traces and authentication data. These processing activities are governed by a data processing agreement (DPA) concluded with each client, in accordance with Article 28 of the GDPR.
Learners and end-users of these platforms must exercise their GDPR rights directly with the client (data controller), and not with Inokufu.
If you reside in California, you have the right to request certain details regarding the personal data we share with third parties for direct marketing purposes (California “Shine the Light” law). Send your request to dpo@inokufu.com specifying your postal address, State of residence and email address.
As internet professionals are still working on standardising “Do Not Track” solutions, we do not currently recognise Do Not Track signals initiated by browsers.
Since Inokufu’s registered office is located in Lyon, France, your data is stored and processed in France. If you use the Services from abroad, your data will be processed in France in compliance with the GDPR and applicable French law. Transfers outside the EU are governed as described in section 7.
We update this Privacy Policy from time to time. In the event of significant changes, you will be informed by email, by notification within the Services, or as required by applicable law. This notification will include a summary of the main changes. Changes take effect on the date they are published.
Continued use of the Services after the effective date of the changes constitutes acknowledgement of the revised Policy. This does not constitute consent to data processing; each processing activity remains subject to its own legal basis.
All capitalised terms not defined in this policy have the meanings assigned to them in Inokufu’s General Terms and Conditions of Use. In the event of a conflict between the French version and a translated version, the French version prevails.
